Before guiding you I would like to suggest few check points/questions to yourself Ask these questions to yourself
If you have a one or more proper reason for the above questions for example :- "I want earn money through part time job that is the reason I want to do part time B.Tech". If this is your answer then definitely you should not go with AMIE. Because if you are capable of doing regular degree course why you want to do it in correspondence. Its a professional course right? You need to do it passionately not for just a degree. Sorry if I am rude but, what I feel is young people of India must think appropriately to achieve this technological related targets. If we Indians want to be ahead of other countries like China and Japan then our Engineers are the only assets for us. I am not against AMIE or Distance or Correspondence courses but the people does through such modes will not get the whole concept of engineering. A normal regular B.Tech student can learn 20 times more than a correspondence student because of his environment provided in the college, labs and other technical events which happens during his or her engineering days. If you don't have any financial responsibilities I strongly recommend you to do a regular b.tech degree from a college . A college which is extraordinary. Not normal college please. Select or target a college which is best in its class. As a diploma holder, you already have a firm grip over subject, in engineering you will apply the same using additional concepts and science. And also being a diploma holder you will have privilege of directly getting admission to 2nd year b.tech course in most of the colleges as you haven't the mentioned the state where you live in I am not giving specific lateral entrance test details. If this is not the case with you, if you are grinning with worst situations around you then you have the only best option is to do b.tech from AMIE without much fee, or procedure or regular classes. Eligibility criteria for AMIE course is a 3 year diploma or equivalent i.e., 10+2/HSC or PUC etc., First of all to do AMIE B.Tech you need to get registered for same in any of the available two categories.
To get membership you need a supporter i.e., Any one with AMIE FIE or MIE membership. After paying fee and other simple procedures you are entitled as Non-Corporate Member. For complete details about AMIE check the attachment with this post. Regards. |
