In order to apply for NDA Exam, candidates are not required to provide information regarding the percentage of marks scored in the higher secondary examination because as per the eligibility criteria of National Defense Academy, candidates who have qualified higher secondary examination with any combination of subject for Indian Army and with Physics and Mathematics for Air Force and Navy are considered eligible to write NDA Exam irrespective of the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

The online application form is made available on www.upsconline.nic.in, as soon as the examination is scheduled.

Hey friend,

The NDA exam is conducted by UPSC and is held for joining in Defence services and you need to satisfy the framed criteria's for the exam in order to apply for it.

As a class 12 student you are eligible as per the education qualification needed and there are certain other criteria's which are needed to be satisfied in order to apply for the exam such as Nationality, Martial Status, Age Limit and Physical Standard including the education qualification

As asked for the information regarding the procedure for applying such as Online and Offline the way for applying through those modes is mentioned below for reference;


For Online Forms:

The candidate can get the online forms for the NDA Exam at the official site of UPSC at www.upsconline.nic.in


For Offline Forms:

The application form with a Information Brochure which will contain the instructions for filling the form and an acknowledgement card and envelope for sending the application will be obtainable from Head Post Offices.You can get them at the rate of Rs.20

NDA Stands for National Defence Academy Examination and this examination is conducted twice in a year .

Online application can be divided into two parts .

Part - I consist of five pages ::

First Page :: Personal details like Name , Date of Birth , Father Name's , Address , Community .... etc.

Second page :: Select the Examination Center

Third Page :: Give the preferences for Army , Navy , Air force ( i.e the candidate need to select at least one preferences )

Four Page :: Here the system will display the all the information entered by you .

Five Page :: It display the system generated Unique Registration ID

If you are completed part-I of Online Application then fill the part - II of Online Application .

Important Note :- Candidate need to take print out of this page by clicking on the Print Option .

Part - II Consist of three pages ::

First Page :: Fee payment

Second Page :: Uploading of Photograph

Third Page :: Uploading of Signature

For Fee Payment candidate have a three options to pay the fees .

[SIZE=2]The candidate can pay the fees at any branch of SBI through the pay in slip . It is generated by at the time of online application process .

The candidate can pay the fees Rs 50 /- in following modes :: Internet Banking , Visa / Master / Debit / Credit Cards , Direct SBI Branches .

If you are pay the fees in any of SBI branch then they will provide a Transaction ID . In remaining online mode of payments , Transaction ID is generated and filled automatically . [/SIZE]

NDA(National Defence Academy)is conducted two times every year i.e
NDA-I and NDA-II.This exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).


Educational Qualifications :
(i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

Age criteria:
Age limits is 16 1/2 years to 19 years.
There is no relaxation for OBC and SC/ST candidates.

Nationality:Citizen of india.

Important note:
Girls are not eligible for this exam, only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
You must be physically fit.

Selection procedure:
Written test,
SSB interview,
Medical test.
