Re: How to get admission in B.Ed? What is the procedure and eligibility?
The candidate should have undergone 10+2+3 (15) or 11+1+3(15) pattern of study and passed the X and XII examinations conducted by the respective State Board or CBSE or any other recognized Board of Education / Examination and UG Degree examination of UGC approved Universities in any one of the school subjects offered by the Directorate of School Education at the Secondary / Higher Secondary Education level. Though the qualifying marks is 40% aggregate in all the subjects but if you score 50% or more your chances of getting a good and recognized college/university increases manifolds more.
For SC/ST and OBC there is a relaxation on 5% marks. Admission Procedure: You need to collect the admission form, from either the college admission department or the official website and submit it, and wait for you name to be announced for the counselling. Once your name is announced you can proceed with the admission procedure by submitting your educational certificate along with your admit card and fees. However, some colleges also have entrance exam which has to be cleared to be eligible to apply for admission. A fee normally depends on the facilities the institution is providing. There are institutions which has air condition classroom. Certainly the fees will be higher in those institutions than the non-air conditioned ones. Fees also depend on the infrastructure and campus facilities the institutions provide. To know about the B.Ed fee structure you will have to provide the name of the institution, as different institution has different fees structure depending on the facilities they provide as i have mentioned above. For your reference i just want to quote that it should vary in-between- Rs.50000-Rs. 300000 depending whether it is a government or private institution. Your question lack proper details as you haven't mentioned the name of the college where you want to apply for admission. In the absence of this vital information it is difficult to provide the exact procedure for admission. I would advice you to contact the admission department of the college/university where you want to apply for admission. they will give explain you the procedure of admission and the fees structure as well. |
