and to get in to the IIM-B you have to clear sectional cut of as well..
and at last as per my knowledge
IIM-B prefer experienced student in their respective field.

Appearing for the CAT exam is a must. You will need to appear for the same in November. This being a competitive exam you must certainly be well prepared. You must get above 97 percentile for the same. Also be well prepared for the GD and PI round.

I have heard that selection procedure is based on the credits to enter in to any IIM what does it exactly mean.
please explain.... in detail/.

IIM is the best Institute for learning Business Administration.To take admission one needs to crack CAT examination.The eligibility criteria to appear in CAT examination is Graduation with 50% in any stream from a recognized Institute.

Tat is some useful guidelines.
I did my Engineering from vtu university but I got a year back as i met with an accident will it affect on my eligibility criteria to get into any of the IIM's

Hi,

as you know there is cut throat competition for admission into IIMs, so to filter out and to select most relevant candidate , they give credits to short listed candidates in entrance test, and thus according to these credits,they call for second round.

credits are given to candidate for followings:
1)10th percentage
2)12th percentage
3)graduation percentage
4)post graduation , if any
5)work experience.

by summation of all credits, your credit should be above the cut off to get call from IIMs. cut off is decided by IIMs.

is it possible to do MBA after diploma 2 year experience?

if you want to get admission in IIM banglor so you have to get 55% in your graduation in any stream.. after that you have to prepare the entrance like CAT/ MAT with 95-99%.. than you can get easslly admission in IIM banglore..

For admission in I.I.M , Bangalore you have to qualify the C.A.T exam.
C.A.T is Common Admission Test.

C.A.T exam is conducted by Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad.

Eligibility for C.A.T:-
> Pass graduation with any stream with minimum 50% marks.
For ST/SC candidate minimum 45% marks is require.
> There is no age limit for C.A.T exam.

After qualify the C.A.T exam you can take admission in I.I.M like:-

Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad

Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM C)

Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM B)

Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIM L)
