now m in 11 i found difficulties in studing because my school is nt good only i get tarined in my tutions and i want to get admission in iit is there any help??

to get admission in IITs you have to clear two competitive exams
First JEE Mains conducted by CBSE which acts as prelims for the next level
you have to within 1,50,000 rank to be eligible to get chance for the next level
Second is JEE Advance and your final rank in JEE Advance will decide you rank that would be considered for counseling for seats in IITs
I you are not getting good training in your school as happens with most of students you have to work harder after school hours.you have to pay attention on your basics and have to do a lot of practice as around 5 lakh students would be competiting with you
read NCERT books thoroughly and practice numerical from other good books
you should also pay attention to your board exams because from this year onwards board exam numbers would be considered for ranking in JEE mains

Dear friend,

Since, you want your admission in IITs. So, you need to work very hard in order to crack entrance exam for IITs.

Every year IITs jointly conduct IIT-JEE exam for admission to IITs.

But from now onwards the same exam has been renamed as JEE Advanced Exam.

And you will have to crack another exam called JEE Mains Exam for appearing in JEE Advanced Exam.

Upcoming JEE Advanced Exam will be commenced on 2 June 2013.

Hey if want to get admission in any IIT then you must join foundation as well as crash cource in a trusted institute for the prepration of IIT-JEE entrance exams........... And do hard work nd give ur best.........surely you'll selected in ITT............

dear,i admire your dedication for studying in IIT. but , unfortunately your school has little or no support to you.i think according to this new system of jee,you need to first concentrate on your boards and score good marks and then there will be bright chances for you to get admission in good CFTI's.So,i would suggest you to maintain the same tempo of studying and study well for your boards .Then,once you are done with the boards ,then you can try out some good coaching institutions which offer IIT coaching

To get admission in IITs 60% marks necessary in Class 12th board exam

Students who have taken the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) in 2012 and are planning to reappear in the exam next year must have at least 60% of marks in their Class 12th board exams. This is basic eligibility criteria to get admission in IITs.

JEE website says, "Those who passed their 12th board exam in 2012 should have 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PD candidates) to be able to secure seats in IITs."

The website further adds, "Top 20 percentile rule will be applicable for those reappearing for the 2013 12th board exam (to improve their marks), if they use their 2013 exam results to apply for the JEE. Students who plan to use their 2012 results will be selected only on basis of the 60% eligibility rule. This will be a one-time exception."

The joint admission board of the IITs had proposed of making 60% the minimum eligibility criteria for admissions. The same was approved by Kapil Sibal HRD minister. Even IIT Kanpur suggested similar things in its senate meeting two months ago.

For foreign students the minimum eligibility criteria will be 20 percentile. Dr GB Reddy, organising chairperson of JEE 2012, said, "At times, the data from foreign board students will not be available on time. We wouldn't like to penalise the students because of this. In such cases, we will take the 20 percentile cut-off to decide their eligibility."

u have to give the jee mains and advance exam to get admission in iit what do u think how much can u score in this jee main (which is a sort of maharashtra level cat type ) which clasess do u go

You need to write JEE MAINS and JEE ADVANCED exams in your 12th conducted by CBSE and your rank should be below 1,50000 then you will get a chance to join in iit engineering colleges

Yes, you are eligible for IIT if you have scored 60% marks in 12th with PCM , there are some relaxation in marks for SC/ST candidates. for this category's students have to score 55% at least for appearing in this exam.
