There is no direct admission in Punjab University for B.Sc (Microbiology) course. If want to get admission, You must have appear and qualify the entrance exam PU CET (UG). Admission is given based on score obtained in 12th (25%) and entrance exam (75%).

Admission Procedure
- Visit the site : www.cetug.puchd.ac.in
- Register online.
- You will get Register ID and Password.
- Login and Download bank challan.
- Deposit fee at any SBI branch through challan.
- Login again and Complete the application by uploading photograph & signature.
- Submit your application.

PU CET Exam Pattern
Exam consists objective types multiple choice questions.
- Paper I : Physics
- Paper II : Chemistry
- Paper III : Mathematics
- Paper IV : Biology
- Paper V : Biotechnology
- Paper VI : Computer Science

- Each paper consists 60 questions.
- For each correct answer, two marks will be awarded.
- For each incorrect answer, 1/2 mark will be deducted.

Important Dates
- Application Procedure Starts : March, 2017
- Last Date of Application : May, 2017
- PU CET (UG) Exam : 4th June, 2017
- Result Declaration : June, 2017
