Re: How to get direct admission in PDPU or UPES?
Well bro according to me you should get into the college on the basis of your hardwork not on some donation.
Well I dont think PDPU and UPES has any management seats. I checked their site and there is no mention whatsoever about the management seats. But year I have heard that the institutes do have management seats but for that you must contact the college authorities personally. You give it a try. All the best |

Re: How to get direct admission in PDPU or UPES?
The average manpower requirement in the petroleum industry is very high compared to other industries, so there will be a lot of vacancies in the near future.
This optmistic view is shared by Prof PK Banik, director of the School of Petroleum Technology, PDPU, Gandhinagar. "The growth rate in the petroleum industry is higher than the national GDP growth rate hence the requirement for petroleum engineers is there," he elaborates. He is very optimistic about the job scenario in the petroleum sector in the coming years, and according to him two factors will ensure a high demand of qualified professionals in the sector. In the recent past though, interest has been generated in areas like nuclear energy and solar energy, due to the thrust on environmental concerns, the reality is that these alternative forms of energy have not taken off in India. Hence the focus is likely to remain on the petroleum sector for many years to come. "I expect the petroleum sector to be in focus for the next 25-30 years," says Prof Banik. Along with coal, oil still remains India's key to secure its energy needs and economic growth. Another lucrative aspect of this sector is a relatively stable employment scenario. "Traditionally, employment in this sector is lifetime employment. For example, if one starts his career with IOC, he generally retires with IOC. It's so even with larger international companies," says Dr Parag Diwan, vice-chancellor of UPES Dehradun, which according to him is the first petroleum institute in India. dear friend first of all i want to suggest you not to try for admission through donation but you should try through your hard labour and merit. but if you are serious about taking admission in PDPU and UPES through donation then hurry up. very few management quota seats are available here and petroleum is highly demanded. since the information regarding management quota seats are not given in its website ,directly meet the authorities not any agent. good luck

Dear jabir666
thank you for expressing your interest in cheating your way through bachelors degree. however, we are sorry to inform you that losers like you wont get anywhere even if you get into our institution. enough number of hardworking students have a tough time clearing all the subjects. the curricula is tough and you wont be able to cope, definitely not with that mentality. Regards, PDPUstudent |

Re: How to get direct admission in PDPU or UPES?
Hello,
PDPU or UPES does not allow direct admission for any student. There is only one procedure followed for admission. A merit list is prepared based on IIT-JEE marks and students are called for counselling. In counselling you will have to give your choice of branch based on your desire. You will either be given that branch or other based on your priority and seats available. Please feel free to ask any query. Thank You |
