Sir i am final year student of diploma in electronics and telecommunication. From govt. polytechnic Nagpur, i m compliting diploma. sir i wish to do govt. job after cmplition of my studies. please try to suggest me diffrent options regarding with my qualification.

You can apply for Ticket Collector or Junior Engineer positions in railways. PSU like IOCL, BHEL and BEL also offer adequate jobs. Technical department in state government departments often recruit diploma holders. Try for Assistant/Clerical jobs. Computer literacy will increase your career opportunities.

After completing your Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering you will able to get jobs in companies/Organizations that deals with electronics/Electrical and Communication sectors,Telephone company,Computer Industry,Satellite communications,cellular phone industry ...etc.

The Post for which you will work in these industries are :

1. Service Engineer.
2. Network Planning Engineer.
3. Senior Sales Engineer.
4. Customer Support Engineer.
5. Electronics and Communication Consultant.
6. Field Test Engineer.
7. Technical Director..etc.

To get jobs you should have the following skills :

• You should be excellent in Mathematics,Science,Technology as well as in IT skills.
• You should have a good Communication Skills.
• You have the ability to work with team.

After completing your Bachelor Engineering course you can apply for these exams for getting 100% jobs in government sectors as per your qualification.These exams are :-

1. GATE(Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).
2. PSU(Public Sector Undertaking).
3. IES(Indian Engineering Services).

If you find any job advertisement satisfying your eligibility then, just get the form form any book depot and fill it and submit, you will be followed by the required procedure for the job and if you passed you are with your job.

You have many options in Government sector if you are a Engineering Graduate in Electronics and Communication. You have to crack examination for getting job in Government sector.

If you clear GATE after Engineering then you will be eligible for job in various PSUs like BHEL, SAIL, GAIL, NTPC etc.

Most of the PSUs recruit executive trainees on the basis of GATE score. So try and clear GATE.
