Respected sir/ madam
I am Dinesh Kumar.A currently purusuing mba final year. i am interested in the area of finance and especially bank stream. What are all the steps i need to take in order to get into a good bank where i can get good exposure as well as earnings.

Most of the banks conduct an entrance exam for the job opening. Since you are pursuing an MBA you can appear for the Probationary Officer post. In terms of salary the private banks pay scale is higher than the public sector. In the public sector banks you will be a Government employee and eligible for the pension scheme. You need to be on the lookout for advertisements in the newspaper regarding this. You can however start preparing for entrance exam.

As you are doing MBA final year in finance sector,you can go for campus recruitment in bank companies like SBI,ICICI,AMERICAN BANK etc.,
you can also write for BANK PO exams,ALso there is exams conducted by the upsc,in which if you pass in that you will be placed in Govt. run banks...

see, after completing MBA degree you can apply for the govt banks as well as in the private banks.

some institute generally invites govt and as well as private banks for their campus interview.

if you will selected in the campus interview then it will be fine.

other wise, for govt bank you have to give bank PO exam.
