To become a scientist you have to be into the field of pure sciences. So after completing your 12th join B.Sc in your favourite subject. And then do M.Sc in that particular subject. And if you are interested you can do Ph.D. too. And well after finishing your M.Sc itself you can join companies for research and developments. The people doing R&D are scientists.
