I have done B.com from Mumbai University with maths in HSC and I want to go for MCA from mumbai university ? Is it possible ?

B.COM stands for Bachelor of Commerce,is a Bachelor Degree in commerce subjects such as Accountancy,Costing and other commerce subjects.

Whereas MCA stands for Master of Computer Application which is a Master Degree in Computer Application,done after completing Bachelor of Application, after completing three year Bachelor course in Computer Application.

After completing B.COM ,if you want to continue further studies then the best option is M.COM, MCA is not a option as it is for those who have completed BCA.You are eligible for Masters in Commerce but not for MCA.

In order to do MCA you have to study BCA again as you did B.COM after Intermediate,three year course of BCA based on Computer Application,after which only one is eligible for MCA,otherwise one can apply for Master of Computer Application.
