hello sir,
I have done my BCA from tilak maharashtra university,with 1st class marks in agg. I have taken admission in MCA in mumbai university,but still I am confused.My questions are

1. Is MCA from mumbai university,good to do?

2. As MCA is a 3year master course, will its value be the same or increase in
the IT market after 3years?

3. What if someone dosn't get a job in campus interview, will there be good job waiting?

4. Can a good gov. job be expected after MCA?

5. What a teaching job would pay?

MCA is a post graduatation in computer application so first you need to have graduation i.e can be either b.com,bsc or engineering or anything graduation degree..


For MCA there are two criteria either
Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level

or Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects in Bachelors degree of minimum three years duration

then only you are eligible for MCA!!

comming to question how to apply for it you can apply MCA-CET which is conducted by most of the state or you can apply top universities which is having their own exam and you need to apply seprately for it..

• Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) MCA Entrance Exam

Course details
Nowadays every 7 out of 10 are opting for MCA. You have to clear the entrance exam to get admission in MCA (Master of computer Application) in top colleges.
Mumbai University is given a rank of 5 star by NAAC and ranked between 451-500 among 500 universities of the world. So you are in very good university. Now if you di not get job in campus placement don't worry there are lots of job in this field as the IT companies are increasing.
You can get government jobs also because in this sector there are lots of job options available.
If you go for teaching or in companies then also you would get good salary because Master's degree always pay you more
