How good is CSE at VIT Chennai campus?

Hi,
How is Computer science Engg at VIT Chennai campus, especially the faculty? And more important, there are many stories of drug abuse in VIT Chennai doing rounds. How true is this? Please reply to enable me to take a decision.

VIT is only knownfor CSE and BIOTECH only.
so,no need to ask how VIT is in this field my dear friend.
if you are selected in VIT than dont do delay,just go and take admission in it.

company comming to VIT offers minimum package of $45,000 which is approx 9,00,000/- in indian currenncy.

what to choose IT at vellore campus or CSE at chennai campus of VIT????And is there a big difference between the placements of vellore and chennai campuses??
