i want to know .how to join army after 12 class with arts stream...please tell me the procedure

Hello dear

see, after 12th with Arts stream, you can't join in the India Army.

only science with PCM subjects holders are eligiable to join in the Indian Army through NDA exam.

12th with Arts stream holders are not eligiable for the NDA exam.

eligibility criteria for NDA exam is given below

>>12th science with pcm subjects.

>>minimum 60% marks in 12th.

>>age limit is 16.5-19 years.

If you have completed your Intermediate examination with Arts Stream form a recognised Board, and Interested to Join Indian Army, then you have to cracked the UPSC NDA Examination.

NDA : National Defence Academy

This examination is conducted by UPSC Twice in a year for the Recruitment of these wings :

>> Army wings
>> Naval Wings
>> Air Force Wings

If you have completed your 12Th examination with Maths and Physics as a compulsory Subjects, then you are eligible for All these wings of NDA.

But you have completed your 12Th examination form Arts, So you are only eligible for Army Wings of NDA.

Only Unmarried male candidates are apply for NDA Examination, But for this your age should between 16.5 to 19 Years, no upper age relaxation is applicable for any candidates.

The selection are based on written test, personal Interview and Medical test and those who cracked all these stages are eligible for Training.

The examination is Objective and you have to cracked the 2 papers of Mathematics and General Ability Test.

The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms.

So, If you are Interested to join Indian Army, then please apply for Next year NDA (I) Examination, The Notification will be declared on 31/Dec/2011 and the last date of apply for this examination 30/Jan/2012 and the Preliminary examination will be held on 15/April/2012.

After 12th with Arts stream you can join Indian Army by appearing NDA(National Dfence Academy) exam conducted by UPSC two times every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to three wings of NDA i.e. Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.

To join Indian Army one should completed 12th from any stream, the final year 12th exam appearing candidate can also be eligible to appear for NDA within the age group of 16.5 years to 19 years of age. He must be an Indian unmarried male candidate to appear for NDA.

The selection is through written exam, Personal Interview followed by Medical test. The forthcoming NDA-I exam will be held on 15.04.2012. For details information you may log on to www.upsc.gov.in

To join in indian army, just pass in 12th std is enough any stream it may be.
For that you have to appear in exam named NDA conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service)

The eligibility for appearing in NDA exam are
1. The candidates must have passed his 12th std with any stream.
2. Candidate's age must lie between 16 1/2 and 19.

If you want to join Indian army after passing 12th with arts stream you have to qualify the National Defence Academy(N.D.A) exam.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass 12th with any subject from recognized university
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year
> Medically fit

There are 3 steps of selection:-
-Written exam.
-Interview
-medical exam.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR N.D.A. & N.A. EXAM.(I), 2012

Date of Notification:-31.12.2011
Last date of receipt of form:-30.01.2012(MONDAY)
Date of exam:-15.04.2012(SUNDAY)
