Hello,
I have just passed my 12th with science (PCMB) & I wanna work in discovery or similar channel (TLC, fox traveller) as a host. I am planning on doing eng hon from DU. Please tell me how it will help? What other choices I have for the same? Is bsc. a good idea?

Normally entrance to this channels need great experience as an activist or journalist viz. wildlife activist or journalist or photographer, tour and travel analyst, etc. So, either you pursue you career in environment or ecology, photography, journalism, hospitality, etc. The course you may choose are BJMC, Diploma in Photography or Graphics, BSc(Environment Management), BHM or Diploma in Tourism Management, etc.

If you pursue any one of the above course, intensive researching in the above field and internship at channels regional office might help you in fulfilling your desire of getting associated with them.
