NDA refers to National Defense Academy and to join the same you are required to qualify NDA entrance examination held by UPSC twice every year.

Further, the minimum eligibility criteria required to apply for NDA entrance examination are as below :-

* You must be an unmarried Indian male candidate.

* Your age must lie within 16.5 years to 19.5 years.

* You must have completed your Class 12th in any discipline from a recognized board of education. Students going to appear in their Class 12th board examination are also eligible. Also, to join Indian Navy or Indian Air force wings of NDA, one is required to have opted for Mathematics and Physics in his/her Class 12th.

NDA is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. The examination is conducted for selection in defence service.

The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed or pursuing in 12th from a recognised board.

You are not eligible to appear for NDA examination with maximum qualification of std 10th.

The minimum eligibility to appear for the NDA examination is that candidate must have passed or pursuing in 12th from a recognised board.

The age limit is 16.5-19.5 years.

So, you will become eligible to appear in the examination, while you are pursuing in std 12th.

Entrance examination is conducted in two stages.

Written.

SSB.

Candidates have to qualify in both the stages for the final selection in service as an officer and to serve the nation as an Officer.
