my name is manish kumar bandhe. my gate application form no. is 6026200. i don't know my exam center?please,help me to know it.my email id is manishbandhe@yahoo.com.

You have to wait for your admit card.They will sent your admit card before 10 to 15 days of your exam .Or download your admit card from the official website of GATE.You exam centre is written in it.

To know your exam centre you need to have your hall ticket ...

and One must get his/her admit card till last week of January 2011!!

But still if one doesnot recieve it till last january then you can get Gate Hall ticket online without any worries.

To download Gate hall ticket you need to go the Gate officail website since they didnot update for downloading Gate hall ticket from the website i cannot give you the link but you can refer this http://www.iitk.ac.in/gate/gate2011/

To download hall ticket you need to have 6 digit application number

GATE exam is competitive exam all over India. For your case,as you have already mention the place of exam centre, the exam centre will be specified on your admit card.

The time and the college name will be specified on the admit card.It will be received by the end of january 2011.

The above referred application is NOT Received at IIT Kanpur"

if you fulfills the eligibility criteria and have filled your application form correctly then you will definitely receive your admit card. don't worry .

you will come to know your exam center only when you will get your gate hall ticket,
if you don't receive your gate hall ticket by the end of January 31 ,then you should contact the gate office immediately,
make sure to keep your application number safely because its through which your case will be made in case of an non receiving of admit card
all the best

Generally you will be alloted examination center in the city of your first choice which you would have mentioned in the examination form.In case if it is not possible to allot you your first choice then they will consider your second choice.
Also it will be mentioned in your Admit card.

click the link where you have submit your gate form ie( roorkee,delhi,etc )
click the link named application status
then enter your application form number and submit,it will show you the information which you have filled in your form and gate exam centre.

I haven't got my hall ticket till now. when wil I receive it? How can i know my exam center?

The gate admit has been alloted to its candidate you will get card soon in this card you will get your exams centre.

exam center will only be mentioned on ur admit card so u have to wait for it.

You application has reached the IIT KGP GATE office.

Visit: http://gate.iitkgp.ac.in/appstat.php to see your application status.

Once you fill your application number in the above link your application details will be opened.
On the bottom of this you will see a blue colored link ONLINE ADMIT CARD

Click on this link. Your admit card will be opened in a new tab.

Take print out your admit card.

The JPEG image of your admit card and application status are attached with this message.
You can download them from the attachments and take a print out of it.
