How many questions are asked in CPT exam? Is there any negative marking for wrong answers?


how many question in c.p.t. exam & how many negetive marks for a wrong answer?

Candidate who seeks to pursue Chartered Accountancy course, have to qualify, the Common Proficiency Test [CPT]. The Common Proficiency Test [CPT] is an entrance test, conducted for admission in to the Chartered Accountancy program. The Test comprises of four subjects which includes Accounting, Mercantile Laws, General Economics and Quantitative Aptitude. The CPT is an objective type test of two hundred marks.

The Test do have negative marking for wrong answers. The Test comprises of two sections. The first section is of Fundamentals of Accounting [60 Marks]
and Mercantile Laws [40 Marks] and the second section is of General Economics [50 Marks] and Quantitative Aptitude [50 marks].

Candidate who have passed the Xth standard examination conducted by an examining body constituted by Law in India or an examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto may register for Common Proficiency Test.
