Basically, there are primarily three kinds of courses in regard to journalism and correspondingly the duration of course varies... 1> Bachelors/Graduate Degree course (BA hons in Mass communication and journalism) - 3 years 2> Diploma courses - 1 year 3> Certification courses - 6 months to 1 year All the best. ![]() |

Total Duration of this course - 3 years for B.A/B.SC in Journalism.
Eligibility :- Educational qualification :- You should be 10+2/Intermediate pass out in any stream from recognized board/university. Marks :- For General/OBC category - 60% in 10+2. For SC/ST category - 55% in 10+2 . Selection Process :- Written Joint Entrance Exam. Interview. Final selection - It will be based on the marks scored in written test and marks of 10+2 scored. There are different courses that are available in the field of journalism which you can take up at various phases of your career. If you want to join it as a graduation purpose, you have a graduation course of 3 years. A post graduation course of 2 years and a diploma course of 1 year. Is commerce or arts is compulsory for gernalism ??? Can't I choose science for it ....i am interested in gernalism very much ..and is there any possibility to get oppertunity of reporting ???

Journalism Course:-
Candidates must have a Undergraduate Degree Duration- 3 years for regular candidates. Examination Types- Semester Marks Required- 50% in 12th from any recognized university. Admission process- Entrance Based ,Merit Based. |
