Can it be possible? Moreover is it necessary to have a graduate journalism degree to b a Journalist? Or shall I go for masters in Journalism after B.tech(EE).

hii,
According to my point of view, after doing BE, doing journalism is not a good idea because for PG in journalism u require UG degree in journalism or u will leave BE & again do ur graduation with journalism.
Choice is urs.

Hello Friend !!

To become a Journalist you should have a Masters Degree in Journalism.

Since you are already doing B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with this you cannot step into Masters Programme of Journalism.

For doing Masters in Journalism you should have a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communication or Mass Media or Journalism.

Since you do not have any of these Graduate degree's you cannot get admission into Masters Programme of Journalism.

So if you seriously wanted to become a Journalist, you should give up the Engineering course right away and get admission into the Graduation Course of Journalism.

Some of the important skills required for a Journalist include Investigative, mind Alertness, Adaptive and tolerant in nature and good communication skills also, command over language, confidence, enthusiasm.
