There are two modes to pursue Bachelor of Education Program [B.Ed], one is through regular mode and the other is through distance mode. In order to pursue B.Ed program through regular mode in most of the recognized Universities, candidate must have completed the bachelors degree program from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks. [45% in some states]. Beside this one has to appear for an entrance test conducted by the University. The duration of the program is one year.

In order to pursue B.Ed program through distance mode from recognized University, candidate must have completed the bachelors degree program from a recognized University. The is no percentage criteria and neither one has to appear in any entrance exam. However beside being a graduate, one must possess a minimum of two years of teaching experience in a recognized school. The duration of the distance program is two years.

Before enrolling in to a Institution for a B.Ed program in any mode one must make sure that the program offered through University is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education [NCTE].

1- please confirm me that if candidate have passed in ma with 60% , he can sit in b.ed. entrance exam or not. because my b.a. % is less than 45% .
2- and now i am perusing ma final year. so i can attended the b.ed. entrance exam.
