In order to pursue Basic Teaching Certificate (BTC) course an individual needs to pass 10+2 level of study in any stream from recognized board with 50% minimum. Age should be 18+ minimum. There is no upper age limit for doing this course.

You need to have minimum 50% marks in 12th or graduation degree course .You can select for BTC on the basis of merit list.

5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks for SC.

Age must not be more than 30 year.
