Re: How much is the salary after completing BCA course?
No doubt that BCA is a good course and has oppportunities also but very limited.
Second thing is that you can not except good pay just having BCA degree in your hand. According to a survey in the begining of Jan, a report was prepared on Indian Job market after reccession in which it was discussed that Indian IT sector will create 11 Lacs of new jobs. And of course it has also been noticed it that its true. such a hefti competition is there in the present Job market that if 1 person is leaving any job 10 are there to grab it. This is the present situation of Indian IT market. So, better opt for higher studies, so that more avenues will get open for you. For a better career prospect in IT sector I will advice you to opt for anyone of the followings - MBA (IT/System): MBA IT is good and today maximum number of students are pursuing that, however, system is also good enough but recommended for those you have stronge command over programming languages and ready to take of security and administrative work. MCA: I dont think I have to explain why to choose it after BCA for a better career prospect. Being a BCA graduate you can better understan its scope. WASE: Wipro Academy of Sosftware Excellence is also a better option, because it gives you full 4 years Training in Software under IT Giant Wipro, a MS which is highly valueable degree all over the world and from BITS which is one of the TOP Engineering and Technology Institute of India. If we talk of BITS reputation in India, then after IIT and IISC it BITS. Apart from that you will also get stipend right from your first academic year. Regards ~Faiyaz~ |

Re: How much is the salary after completing BCA course?
As you completed your BCA degree, you will get chances in reputed organizations. A BCA fresher can earn Rs. 10000 to Rs.18000 per month. Based on the capability of the aspirant, the remuneration may vary. After getting experience, the aspirants can earn more. Once you pursue some additional computer program, you will get more pay.

Re: How much is the salary after completing BCA course?
Starting Salary after BCA
Bachelor of Computer Applications is a course that is customized for students wishing to shine in the field of computers and information technology. If you are interested in computer related field and even if you are not interested in computer field, but you have a fast thinking mind and can apply concepts and analyze the situation coming your way, then BCA is the perfect course for you. Concepts and subjects studied in BCA are in par with engineering subjects. On successful completion of the BCA course, the graduates can work as web designer, web/multimedia programmer, network and system administrator, database administrator or as a software programmer. If the BCA graduate is interested in teaching industry, he/she can look for faculty position in computer application and computer science. BCA graduates can get an attractive salary since the jobs are related to ITES/IT based industries. Moreover, the salaries of BCA graduates are subject to the conditions and needs of the IT market. The work ethics and culture are very similar. The salary is based on the skills of the candidates. While some companies select fresh BCA graduates and train them to meet their requirements, some other select only experienced BCA candidates with programming abilities and knowledge. A fresh BCA graduate can get a minimum starting pay of Rs.10000 and a maximum pay of Rs.18000. The salary depends on the company in which they have got the opportunity to work. Once they gain experience, they will be able to earn more. In addition to this, the BCA graduates will be able to earn more if they complete their master’s degree. They can also do some additional course on computers along with their degree course, which will increase their employment opportunities and the pay scale as well. So, BCA graduates need not worry about their pay. |

Re: How much is the salary after completing BCA course?
dear friend,
you should also mention about your collage name from which you have done BCA, its also depend on college repotation , by the way, BCA gives you only bachelor degree & scopes are also limited for BCA aspirants. for fresher it will 8 to 10 thousand. salary will increase according to your performance in a particular company.if you got the experience of 2 or 3 years you salary will increase rapidly.but in future no scope for a BCA degree holder, you should concentrate on your studies . |

Re: How much is the salary after completing BCA course?
After BCA the pakages most companies offer ranges between 1.9 to 3.0 lakhs per anum.
If you opt for a job without any degree, like what wipro, tcs, tech mahindra..... are offering, you'll be paid 3.0/annum. whereas if you get into wipro, tech mahindra... etc etc your packages would be like 11,500 INR per month for first year, 14,000INR per month for 2nd year, 19000 INR per month for third and 23000 INR per month for the third year... |

Re: How much is the salary after completing BCA course?
Hi...
Career after BCA is good. The salary would depend upon your company you working in. But the better option would be doing your post graduation like MCA, MBA, M.Sc-IT... The salary after BCA would be 8-20,000/- per month. The salary after post graduation would be double or increased to that of BCA holder. All the Best... |

Quote:
Dear Aspirant, Since you have done the under graduation course BCA. The salary will be a average one around 10 to 15000 if you are getting recruitment through the campus. Else the salary would be low based on the company standards. But when you have a certification with you either the campus or direct the salary would be more. You can demand for a high salary if you have a certification in any software technology like Java or .NET Hope this info helps you. All the best for your future endeavor's. Any more Queries. Don't Hesitate to ask me. Am happy to help you always. Just ping to my profile. Best Regards, Sampath. |

Re: How much is the salary after completing BCA course?
It depends on the basis of your skills, both subject and communication skills and your capability to work.
As you have done BCA that is Graduate degree in computer applications, it will not be sufficient for you to get a good salary. You can expect salary in between 15k for fresher and then around 20k to 50k that all depends in which company you are working and in which department you doing job. I would suggest you to go for at least master's degree and any certification/language/.NET/MCS course to earn a good salary and post with experience. You can go for distance learning mode for your masters or regular. You can do : MBA MCA MCA then PhD. etc. |

Re: How much is the salary after completing BCA course?
After doing BCA (bachelor in computer application) you can apply for jobs in different departments.
If you apply in private companies as a fresher/graduate then you can earn near to 15k to 25k. With experience you can get more salary near about 30-50k but that too after 10yrs or more of experience. If you apply and get job in government sectors then you can earn good. I would suggest you to go for at least master's degree further, that will open new job prospects, also high salaried jobs and secure future. You can pursue: MCA MBA IT MCA - MTECH |
