Re: How much salary is offered after doing BCA?
BCA graduates can get an attractive salary since the jobs are related to ITES/IT based industries. Moreover, the salaries of BCA graduates are subject to the conditions and needs of the IT market. The work ethics and culture are very similar. The salary is based on the skills of the candidates. While some companies select fresh BCA graduates and train them to meet their requirements, some other select only experienced BCA candidates with programming abilities and knowledge.
A fresh BCA graduate can get a minimum starting pay of Rs.10000 and a maximum pay of Rs.18000. The salary depends on the company in which they have got the opportunity to work. Once they gain experience, they will be able to earn more. In addition to this, the BCA graduates will be able to earn more if they complete their master’s degree. They can also do some additional course on computers along with their degree course, which will increase their employment opportunities and the pay scale as well. So, BCA graduates need not worry about their pay. |

Re: How much salary is offered after doing BCA?
Hello,
Well after BCA you cannot expect more than around Rs.15,000 for most companies. This is the starting salary that I am saying. Normally most starting salaries go back to Rs,.10,000-Rs.12,000. This is normally a Rs.15,000 salary job. But after cutting the taxes and medical benefits and other amounts your salary will come to around Rs.10,000. Now after that you have to work harder on your projects and impress your boss so much that you become very much needed in your company. Accordingly along with your performance the salary will increase upto Rs.50,000-Rs.60,000 per month, But to sustain at such high income or to increase it even more, you have to increase your education. This you can do while at your job also. You can choose M.S. or MCA while being at your job and after you complete that your promotions will become smoother!! |

Re: How much salary is offered after doing BCA?
Being fresher after BCA (Bachelors in computer application) if you go for a job in any private company then you will be paid not more than 20k.
With experience you can get a good package of around 25-40k but that will require to gain at least 10yrs of experience . If you apply and get job in government department then it will be very good. I suggest you to go for at least master's degree either through distance or regular mode to get high salaried more satisfying jobs. You can pursue: MBA IT MCA MCA - MTECH You can also pursue some certification/language courses from recognised institutions which will boost your salary package e.g. .NET/MCS etc |
