The salary will depend on the Hotel you join. Like if you join a five star hotel naturally you can expect a better package. In less reputed hotels the salary naturally will be lesser. It also depends on the institute from where you pursue the course. Also the qualification is another important criteria.

it depends on where you get placed. in 3 star or 4 star you can generally expect a starting package of nearly 2 lakhs...which will increase in proportion to your potential and dedication.while in 5star hotels,there is no upper limit,you can weave high dreams

gaurav i m telling you my personal expeience i m a hotelier , if u have skills and communication no one can stop u by taking a handsome salary, It is true that in hotel line the starting salary is not too much but if u stay in a five or four star hotel atleast 2 years then your market value will be very good. now i m telling you the pay scale.
in 5 star hotel if u get entry by placement = 10 to 12 thousand plus incentives
in 5 star hotel entry without campus placement = nearby 7 to 8 thousand.
if u move towards QSR (quick service restaurant) i.e. MC D , pizzahut,costa cofee , tasty tangles ,KFC etc. then ur starting salary will be 6,500 as crew member and if u crack the management trainee programe of restaurant line then ur starting salary will be 11 to 12 thousand.

Since they are freshers they can get a minimum salary of 5k per month.Its all based on their work experience and talent .After getting experience the students will get high salary as per the hotel management system.

i finish my bhm course in ihm chennai ..i know everything about hotel management ..
every put starting salary more than 30,000rs like that ..it is not true ..
if u got job in campus interview u will get 10,000 to 15,000rs this much only ..

and noot get job in college placement u will get 5,000 to 10,000rs .iam taking about 5star category only..

u got as a management trainee u will get maximum 17,000rs only..

hello dear friend you can get your wishing salary on your work in hotel management but there is some avg salary package are given tarting Salary: Initially, the salary structure is around 20 k but soon it can reach up to 35 k after certain promotions. The hotel management students join as a management trainee after their graduation. After 18 months of training program they can get the position of assistant restaurant manager & earn about 25 k. After 2 years excluding training period they are eligible for restaurant manager where salary is around 30-35 k per month along with lucrative perks.so you can get a better life..thanks

Firstly , i would like to say that salary depend upon your job that you are getting i mean the position that you are holding and the company that you are working in . If you are working in a reputed company then obviously you are bound to get a handsome salary .

But as in general the minimum the salary starts from 17,000 and it can increased upto 50,000 and also if you have more experience then salary can also increase it depend on your performance and attitude towards your job.

It Totally Depends Upon The College And The Hotel You Join.

The ones Who Work In 5 star hotel may earn a starting package of upto Rs5-6Lakh.
But For A Normal College

One Gets A normal PAckage oh Rs1-2 Lakhs.

And ya

The Salary keeps on increasing depending upon ur performance .
