My son presently studying in Class IX. He like to be an Officer of Indian Armed Forces. How to prepare for NDA from right now? Advice some book and course material for him. Are there any online previous question paper available for free download?

Candidate those who had well prepared there 11th and 12th Physics, Chemistry and MAthematics and English also would easily able to crack NDA written test. However, charm are for CBSE candidates because syllabus, is nothing out of class 11th and 12th CBSE. Even the Mathematics paper of 300 marks in NDA is much alike what are asked in CBSE exam. And all the question are based on NCERT books and R.S. Agarwal also.

Questions are not tough, its normal for what you had studied in your class 11 and 12, either its Maths or Physic & Chemistry. Whereas for English and General Aptitude cadidate has to work hard.

Since, your son is in 9th standard at present and wants to prepare for NDA. So at this time the only suggestion for him is to score well in his board exams so that he can get 'Pure Science' stream for in his 11th. Otherwise going through NDA is tougher then crunching iron nuts for non-science students, who doesn't have subject combination of Physics, Chemistry and MAthematics in there +2.

you can surely become a pilot and fulfil ur dreams by getting a minimum of 70% percent marks in pcm.den fill the UPSC entrance examination form for NDA.remain in touch wid daily news of the world and latest technologies.

dear friend:-
NDA paper consists maths , english and general knowledge.
you have to read books of english at high level... you have to continuosly solve its paper. download papers from net and come to know about its format

increase your journal knowledge in history and geography
maths paper comes very simple its syllabus is fron +1 and+2 books .
prepare them.

i m presently in class 11 and taking coaching to crack competetive exams...really interested in joining the indian defence...priority is ARMY...but family isnt agreeing...whatt can be done...plus please tell books and institutes for coaching of ssb as well as NDA preparation....do reply...thnks in advance...

No, Its not Possible for you to apply for NDA Examination after completing your 10th examination. This examination is Conducted by UPSC, Twice in a year and this examination is Conducted for these 3 wings of NDA :

Force Wings
Naval WingsAir
Army Wings

Hi if you want to join merchant NAVY there are certain parameters like

The training of all the Indian Merchant Navy personnel is the responsibility of the Government of India, who work through the Ministry of Surface Transport. If you wish to enter the navigational and engineering fields of Merchant Navy

1- you need to complete their B.Sc. degree in mechanical or marine engineering, at the time of in admission.

2- you have completed their 12th with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) are eligible to join as Deck Cadets.
