At first, you should know about the pattern and structure of SSC exam. Exam preparation can be started on that basis. Try to study from books by Khanna, Lal and Jain, Arihant publications etc. Log in to official websites and can download model question papers for this exam. If you want you can join for coaching classes for this exam. Mock tests can also be attended as part of your practice for this exam.

could you tell me about the prepration of ssc exam like how to prepare and which books are requierd for the ssc exam and how many stages for the exam and which book are better for pre exam and which books aer better for main and some other importat books for reasoning and gk and ncert books and gs pls tell me all the material are required for the ssc exam so that I may prepare properly.

in order to prepare english do following things-

1. take the help of 10th class english grammar of ncert

2. make habit of reading news paper and magzines.

3. to improve vocabulary take help of book Word power made easy.

SSC CGL exam is not so far now you should use these below tips to get sure shot success in the exam

Preparation tips :-

1. First of all make a chart where you have to write which all topic you have to study
2. Then start with the basics and clear your all basic doubts
3. After that Start with the subject that sounds to hard to you
4. Make a time table and give proper time to every subject
6. Focus more on the hard subjects and also give time to the easy ones
7. Do not hesitate to clear your doubts
8. Read daily newspaper
9. Solve mock test paper and sample paper
10. Ensure time management as exam is online exam.

Mathematics
English
Reasoning
Gk

SSC CGLE is Combined Graduate Level Examination and it is conducted by Staff Selection Commission.

The CGL Exam is divided into 3 Tiers:

-Tier I which is Objective Type Paper of 200 marks

-Tier II will have 3 papers of which you have to give any two according to the post applied.

-Tier III will be having skill test or interview on the basis of post applied .

In Tier I questions will be from following subjects:

-Reasoning Aptitude

-Quantitative Aptitude

-English Language Skills

-General Knowledge

You have to clear cut off marks in Tier I to become eligible for Tier II.

Tier II will be having 3 papers

-Paper I English Language and Comprehension

-Paper II Quantitative Methods

-Paper III Statistics

If you score good marks in both the Tiers then you have good chance of getting selected.

SSC CGL stands for SSC Combined graduate level exam and it is a exam conducted once in a year to recruit people for various department working under government of India so that is why there are lot many candidates who are preparing for the exam and that is why it is necessary to prepare in such a way that you remain in the competition.

The subjects in SSC are :-
English
Maths
GK
Reasoning

Tips :-

Give equal time to preparation for each subject

Never try to read only one subject and leave the other one

Give more stress on History and Geography of NCERT Level as last year many questions were asked from there.

Never Fill the OMR sheet after every question as it will take lot of your time and instead of that its better to complete a section and then mark all the OMR sheet after that so that you get around 5 mins extra

Make a time table and study according to that

Always read newspaper as by this you can improve your general knowledge

Sample problem solving is must

sir, i m in air force serving i have nine years left with me i want to give my ssc CGL in Ex Servicemen quota. I have done my graduation in Public Admin with 59% marks from IGNOU. pls advice me will i be eligible after my present engagement of twenty years of service in airforce.my age as of now is 31 years 3 months.
