Only systematic studies will help you clear this exam. First of understand the structure and pattern of these exams. You must begin with preparing for the prelims. This being an aptitude oriented test it is important that you solve sufficient number of problems in each of the areas. For the general knowledge make sure you read newspapers and journals regularly. Once you are thorough in these areas start preparing for the mains too.

Re: How should I appear for IAS exam after MBBS?
The eligibility for sitting in Civil services exam is a graduation degree in any discipline.
So it does not makes any diffrence which graduation degree you choose to do. You can select those subject what you study in graduation in the mains examination of Civil services. A good number of Engineers and doctors take civil services examination every year and succeed too. But don't think that MBBS is best to take IAS exams later. If really you are serious about civil services then better do simple graduation like Bsc etc. And start preparing for IAS during graduation only. |
