Banaras Hindu University is situated at Varanasi in the territory of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is a Public Central University which offer Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Research and U.G/P.G Diploma programs.
Banaras Hindu University conducts Undergraduate and Postgraduate Entrance Tests more often than not amid May-June for admission to different courses. admission are done on the basis of merit in Entrance Tests,Entrance Test Admission frames are issued by the workplace of the Controller of Examinations for the most part in February-March each year. The Entrance Tests are held at the following centres in India - Varanasi ,Delhi,Calcutta , Chennai , Jaipur ,Hyderabad , Mumbai.

Admissions to B.Tech./B.Pharm., M.Tech./M.Pharm. are done through JEE and GATE separately. Admission to MBA and MIBA are done through CAT.
