i have completed comerce 12 standard now can i take psychology course now in andhrapradesh.or through distance

total detail's of all the medical cources that I can do afrer 12th including how to go ahed;i.e; what line to choose and how to chose?

psychology is the branch which study about us and our society.

*Educational :
For Bachelor programme in psychology - 10+2
For Post graduate courses in psychology - Bachelor degree in psychology
For Ph.D./ M.Phil - PG or Diploma in psychology

*Duration :
Graduation in psychology is a 3 year programme.
Post graduation is of 2 years duration and during the course, specialization in a special branch of psychology is possible.
M.Phil or Ph.D. is of 2 year duration.

*Personal Skills :
Good communication skills, patience, ability to work with all kinds of social/ cultural and age groups are the essential qualities of a psychologist. They should have a genuine interest in people, their behaviour and have empathy for their problems. They have to be sensitive and caring and also have the ability to understand people of very different backgrounds and upbringing.

The basic eligibility criteria to study B.Sc in psychology is that you should have minimum 50% of marks at 10+2 level and you should be a science student.

So commerce students cannot apply for this subject. Sorry about that.

I am a Science student, so is it possible for me to take Psychology after completing my 12th ??

my school counselor had told me that having commerce in 12 will not a problem later on while opting for psychology! i am now confused cz u said its not a option to have science
