it depends on the course which you are applying,
any how on over all basis iit delhi id better

IIT Bombay is terrible.

Results:

“IIT Bombay”, academics – “IIT Delhi”, academics: 79,000 - 41,000

"IIT Bombay", awards – “IIT Delhi”, awards: 84,500 - 37,600

"IIT Bombay", jobs – “IIT Delhi”, jobs: 54,000 - 49,700

"IIT Bombay", success – “IIT Delhi”, success: 32,000 - 23,700

According to latest survey in 2009 IIT-kgh stands at top in academic quality and also overall performance.

IIT-D has made a record of 100% placement and stands second after IIT-kgh.

IIT-B is considered best for its electronics engineering and stands within the top 7 after IIT-kgh at top & IIT-D at second,probably 4th or 6th i forgot that.

both of iit is good.. but if we shown on the rank basis iit bombay is best.

iit bombay is much better than iit delhi as as per today ranking iit bombay stands first it means it is having many things which make him stand in the first position.and i have personally gone to both of the institute and i find iit bombay much better than iit delhi in all aspects.

but for some department iit delhi is better.
and for some course iit bombay is better.

both the colleges are good according to acadmics.

but I.I.T. Delhi invites applications from exceptionally bright and motivated persons, who have an established record of independent, high quality research and commitment to teaching and research for the Assistant Professor regular positions in various Departments/Centres/Schools

accoriding to me all the different iit are same but if we see the ranking then we say that iip bombay is much better than iit delhi.

both are iits so they both are top colleges.. but still iit mumbai is ranking 1

IIT delhi is still the best if you want to study electronics,electrical engineering
IIT bombay is good for mechanical and design
IIT roorkee is best for civil,earth-quake engineering
Ism dhanbad for mining and petroleum engineering
BHU IT for pharmacy and mechanical
IIT kharagpur for food,aeronautics etc

these both college are good in own level, but it is better you want to do from iit delhi, because it is the best college according to acadmics.

if you consider infrastructure then iit Delhi is better,but if student standard and faculty is concerned then iit Bombay is better,
it also depends on the branch you are choosing,like for computers Bombay is better and for mechanical Delhi is better

both being iit are good however rank of iit delhi is better than iit bombay

both colleges are good but you have to specified for which course are you comparing them.IIT Delhi might be better for some courses while IIT Bombay might be good for other courses.
so please specify.

Look dear i want to convey you something don't go by the rumor or by infrastructure of campus or climate and soon.Always try to go by following the best faculty available and best placement available. Here is a lis of top 5 IITs where IIT bombay stands at 3rd which is not a matter of joke and IIT delhi stands at 5th, so you can make the difference yourself:

According to me what news if have got is IIT bombay is a good one to opt for as because it has got a good faculty and placement too in comparison to IIT delhi though delhi has got a good campus but all over IIT bombay is ahead of IIT delhi.So, i think better opt for IIT bombay rather than IIT delhi, if you get a chance or option.

on ranking basis IIT Delhi is considered better. But IIT bombay is also great.

Both the iits are famous but the rankings ae always changing every year so select that one which you like most........

IIT bombay is better than IIT delhi, because the academic performance of IIT bombay is good and the placement is also good. So, just go for IIT bombay.

see every year rankings are gotten out.
sometimes iit bombay or delhi comes up or some other.
you have to see the department you are choosing then only you can know the best for yourself.

instrument technology at iit delhi is better or systems and control at iit bombay is better?

It depends in which branch you are interested.
Both the IITs are good.

Dear if we see the current ranking then we will say that IIT Delhi is on top.
There is a reason for this.

AS in this college the placement cell is run by the students only there is no teacher involved in the placement cell.

So i will say you to look forward for IIT Delhi.

sometimes this magazines like outlook give census.
iit accreditions is unquestionable.
coming days,you heard that how the new iit are coming up with new courses

definitely the best are in iit delhi is on top
also i heard that that iit bombay is performing well.

Both are good and can join any of them. Its the ranking which changes from time to time and shown in magazines. They consider different factors at different time.
So its the case of ranking. Other wise all the IITs are best and top amongs the is IIT Kharagpur.

yr both r gud,,, It also depends upon courses nd somewhat placements also.........

but it's depend on your choice that where u want to study because if u are good in study then your placement is fixed at the both of the colleges.

IIT Bombay Cutoff's are lower(means better) IIT delhi..
2009 JEE
IIT bombay CSE closed at 86
while IIT delhi at 151..
nd electrical...
IIT bombay closed at 109
while delhi around ~250....
therefore IIT bombay is the best...

Both are IITs, it doesn't matter whether it is in delhi or bombay.
But for the different courses they varies some else.
The facilities available in IIT bombay is much better than that of IIT delhi.
So if a candidate get chance in both the IITs then he/she surely choose IIT bombay.

My dear friend both the IITs are good but IIT Bombay is better than iit Dehli in my openion. In case of this you must check the branch also. if you are getting good branch in Dehli than you must go for it. and if you are getting your fav. branch in Bombay than you must go for Bombay. GOOD LUCK

If you need a broad ranking of new IITs, in my view IIT Ropar and IIT Hyderabad are first and then IIT Patna, Bhubaneshwar, Gadhinagar and Indore are developing fast, I strongly believe IIT Jodhpur and Mandi will in race soon.
