Gud morning sir,
firstly i wanted to join indian army.Bt i am a lilltle confused regarding how to go in.I wanted to b in army as soon as possible.i gave my 12 exam dis year with pcm.?i have filled my nda II form!?

Here are the 2 simple ways to get in indian army

1. NDA

as you are already aware about it, you have to fill the form then there is a written examination
if you get selected then you will get a call letter for SSB, which is of 10 days
there are 3 phases in SSB intervies

1. day 1 - SCREENING
2. day 2-5 - GD, PI, other tests
3. day 6-10 - physical and medicals

if you manage to get in the merit list, you will get the final letter for the NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY

You spend 3 years in NDA then the last one in IMA or naval academy, AF academy as per your preferences.


2. TES

Now lets have a look upon TES [technical entry scheme]
only students with 70% and more in PCM are eligible for this

Procedure:-

fill the form in desired manner, then you will be called for the SSB for 10 days

if you manage to get in merit list, you will be called for IMA

Now here is the difference

You spend the 1st year in IMA and then the next 4 in other army institutes.

If you clear NDA II, you can join the Indian Army as officer cadre, if cant but still if you want to join the Army you can join as the soldier level with the +2 qualification, if you are in age of 16 1/2 - 19, you can try the NDA as well.

Height-157.5 cm, For Gorkhas and individuals belongings to hills of North Easter region of India, Garhwal and Kumaon, the minimum height will be 5 cm less. For candidates from Lakshadweep the height will be reduced by 2 cms.
Application procedure:
Application should be on a plain paper as per the prescribed format.
A white envelope containing the application should be Super scribed in Red ink indicating clearly the branch of BE/ Btech applied for i.e ‘ Application for 19 UES Entry : ……… Engineering.

Age - 20 to 27 yrs

Qualification - BE / B Tech in notified streams of Engineers

Duration of Training - One Year

hi uahve 2 clear the exam of nda ok after selection in it u will join on it ok
& one thing more that u have 2 pass every thing on that ur height ur chest or various thing ok after that ur age preference & much more ok then u got admission on it

You are eligible for Technical Entry Scheme.
Details are as follow:

Qualification : 10+2 (PCM) with 70% marks.

Age : 16 and half to 19 and half years i.e. born between 01 Jan 1991 and and 01 Jan 1994 (both days inclusive)

Physical Standard: min. height 152 cm and weight 42 kg., better eye 6/6 and worst eye 6/18

yes as engg. ,you can go on to fill vacancy of army in many resounding fields from ssb,ekt & ues scheme.

There are 2 ways to enroll in indian army :
1. through NDA
2. Through TDS

Dear first of all i want to tell you that there are three exams to get admission in army.
first is NDA
second is technical entries which you can give after completing your class 12th.
third is CDS.

in NDA first of all you have to clear the exam then only you will get the call.
but in technical entries form you will directly get the call for you GD and PI.
and the CDS exam you can give after completing your degree.

you can join indian army and for that you need to write in nda exam which has the minimum eligibility 12th pass

and if you not able to join through that you can go for a graduation degree and after that you can write for cds exam and then can join indian army

Indian Army as you are Science student.while studying in 12th you can give exam NDA and for NDA your age must be within 19 years of age.
while doing your graduation or BE/B.TECH in 3 year you can sit for exam like UES.And after completing it ,you can give exam like CDS exam.

Indian Army offers good opportunities for science students. The candidates should be 19 years to 25 years. The eyesight should be 6/6.The height should be
Minimum 5 foot 7 inches and weight should be at least 45 kg.You have to appear for NDA exam which will be followed by interview and medical test.

and if you have mathematics a one of the subjects in the 12th then

you can appear for the NDA exams,

and there is different phase of the NDA exam,

and after qualifying the NDA exam , you can go for the army.

you can apply for the the NDA exam conducted by UPSC as you have mentioned that you are from science background and you have maths subject also..

but if you will complete your graduation then you can sit for many for exam conducted by the UPSC,so better to go for the graduation.

As you are in 12th and you want to join in Indian Army, then NDA exam is the best option for you..

after 12th you can appear in NDA exam to join in Indian army..

the criteria is you must have PCM in your 12th, and your age should be less then 21 years..

to join in amry, you have to appear and qualify either NDA exam or UPSC exam.

through UPSC exam, you can join in Indian army.

the criteria to attain in the UPSC exam is

minimum graduation in qualification with 55% marks.

age limit 21-29 years.

Surely you can join Indian Army as a science student.
You can try for it after +2 or after your graduation degree.
After +2 you can apply for NDA.
NDA exam is conducted twice a year first in the month of April & second in the month of August.
After selected in written you will be called for SSB test, & then you will be finally selected.

& the same procedure will be for CDS, which is after your graduation degree.

& if you are a student of engineering then you can apply for either EKT(engineering knowledge test) or UES(university entry scheme).
& after selection in written or interview you will be called for SSB test.
After completing all tests, you will be commissioned in army as leutinent.

They are........

2. day 2-5 - GD, PI, other tests like written tests or different interview.

3. day 6-10 - physical and medicals , physical means race , long jump or any other events , and medical means there they will test your say blood group , colorblindness etc..


if you manage to get in and passed into this exam and enlisted into the merit list, then you will get the final letter for the NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY.(NDA)


2. TES ( Technical Entry Scheme )

Now lets have a look upon TES [Technical Entry Scheme]
only students with 70% and more in PCM are eligible for this

Procedure:-

1.fill the form in desired manner, then you will be called for the SSB for 10 days


10 days proceduer are discussed in the above.

2.if you manage to get in merit list, you will be called for IMA finnaly you will be selected.

you have told that you have just passed your 12 th exam in science with PCM (Physics , Chemistry , Mathematics ) . if you have a good marks i.e. above 75 % then you will have some facilities in your exam.

You only know about NDA but there are another exam TES ( Technical Entry Scheme ) . So you can try in this exam.

It's good that you want to join indian army.
NDA-II is also a good choice.

NDA written exam has a major part of mathematics.

for clearing NDA mathematics should be strong.

If you clear it then you will be call for interview.

This interview has 3 stages
1. Physiological test
2. GDs
3. PI(personal interview) in front of team of experts.

After your 12th you can join Indian army through National Defence Academy (NDA). For that You have to take an entry level exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).


Eligibility for UPSC exam :-
a) Sex :- Male.
b) Age Limit :- Between 16 1/2 and 19.

Application Forms are published in leading newspapers during March /April.

The UPSC (NDA) exam is conducted twice a year (April and October)in all major cities throughout India.

Each year course start twice in the month of January and July.

UPSC (NDA) Syllabus is based on CBSE syllabus.

After clearing the written exam you have to go through a five-day interview process with the State Selection Board (SSB) which is the final step .

On completion of the NDA course, you are sent to the respective service academies for your pre- commission training.

actually the score of all the three is taken account off before selection,
you have to clear minimum marks in all the three only then you will be selected,
but if you really do well in written then you have a chance more chance of selection

to apply for NDA minimum percentage of marks required is 60% for general candidate.
percentage of candidate they call for ssb interview and medical test after written test depends upon number of candidate applied for the post and the total number of available post. i will suggest you to visit the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in to know the number of post and other details also.

Sorry, colour blindness is not accepted in defence services. It is not even accepted in Mercant Navy
