Indian citizen who has passed 12th from Nepal can get admission in IIT 2016?


Can an Indian citizen who has passed class 11 and 12 from Nepal have admission in IIT 2016? Please i am Indian but passed 12th from there due to some problems.

Yes, of course the citizens who had passed 10+2 from Nepal can appear for JEE Main exam followed by JEE Advanced Exam for getting admission to IITs or NITs.

Nepal along with Bhutan candidates are eligible to take admission in IITs.

The admission criteria is almost similar to normal Indian candidates.

You just have to qualify JEE Main Exam and fight for the JEE Advanced Exam to bag your seat in IIT.

While filling application form, the candidates will have to fill their State Code as '99'.
