B.Ed Admission Process in Jammu and Kashmir Entrance Exam: Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) is a competitive examination in Jammu and Kashmir which is conducted by the board twice in a year–one for Kashmir Division and one for Jammu Division for selecting eligible candidates for admission to the Bachelor Of Education (B.Ed.) course which is a NCTE recognized programme. Eligibility: Passed B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./BCA/BBA examination from a recognized University/Institution according to 10+2+3 pattern Eligibility Exception: The relaxation of marks is also applicable for those applicants who are belonging from Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, OBC/MOBC and all others who falls under the Physical Disability (PD) category. Age limit: There is no upper age limit for admission to B. Ed. Courses. Method Subjects: English, Bio. Science, Physics, Chemistry, Math., Geography, History, Work Education, Computer Education are available and the offer of admission will be given as per availability of seats and subjects of the College concerned. How to Apply: The application form with the Information Brochure will be available at the following offices of the Board against a fee of Rs. 850/- to be paid in the shape of Bank Draft favouring FA/CAO Board of Professional Entrance Examination and payable at RCC, Jammu : (i) Board office, 9–A, Polo View Srinagar–190001. (ii) Board office, 4th Floor, South Block, Bahu Plaza Jammu–180012. Application Fee: The application form with the Information Brochure will be available at the following offices of the Board against a fee of Rs. 850/- Procedure of Admission: Admissions shall be made through Counselling on the basis of merit of the candidates at the graduation level. The Counselling schedule shall be notified separately on University website (www.jammuuniversity.in) and in the Local and some National newspapers. No separate invitation for Counselling shall be sent individually to the candidates. The candidates have to be personally present at the time of counselling at Jammu. Duration of B.Ed Course: The Colleges offers One Year Secondary Teacher Education Programme known as B.Ed. Fee for B.Ed Course: Fee for the various courses in Government/Aided colleges will be as fixed / approved by the Government, from time to time. The details of fee structure for the various courses will be published before the commencement of option registration. The authorities of kashmir university dono care bout the students . . . . . . .most of exams are held in harvesting season when the parents need lit support of their childre . . . . . . .ALAS!
