CMAT : Common Management Admission Test

• It is a National level admission test for admission in all management programs approved by AICTE.

• This exam is held twice in a year in the months of February and September.

>> Eligibility Criteria :

• You must have done Graduation in any discipline or in the final year of Graduate courses to apply for it.

>> Exam Format :

CMAT is a computer based test. You have to choose an answer by clicking on the correct option for each question.
There will be a total of 100 questions and time duration of 180 minutes.
4 marks will be alloted for every correct option and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

CMAT Exam Details:-

$$ Full form of CMAT is Common Management Admission Test. By giving this examination you can get admission in various MBA Colleges in India. It is also a National Level Entrance Test which is conducted by the AICTE.

$$ Every year this exam is conducted for two times: in February and in September. An additional CMAT exam will be conducted in the month of May. It is a computer based test where for each question there will be options to choose from.

$$ For Management (PGDM,MBA and similar) you need a minimum three years undergraduate degree plus 50% of marks at graduation level.

$$ For Management (PGCM) you need a bachelor's degree in any discipline of your choice from a recognized university. The minimum duration of the course is three years.

$$ For Management (Executive PGDM) you need a bachelor's degree in any discipline and 50% of marks in aggregate. Then you also need 5 years relevant managerial / supervisory experience.

$$ This exam can also be given by final year students who are about to appear for the final qualifying exam or is waiting for the result to come out.

$$ Duration of the exam is 180 minutes and there are four sections mainly Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness.

$$ From each section 25 questions will be asked and for each section 100 marks have been allotted. For every right answer you will get 4 marks and for every negative answer 1 mark will be deducted from the original score.

INFORMATION OF C-MAT CRITERIA :-

C-MAT is the entrance exam for the taking admission in the M.B.A & M.C.A.


C-MAT is the competitive exam.


These exam is very hard. In these Exam total 4 parts divided as under :-

1. Verbal. 25x4 =100 marks.

2. Maths. 25x4 =100 marks.

3. English. 25x4 =100 marks.

4. G.A/G.K.25x4 =100 marks.

Total marks are 400 marks in each sections divided in to the 100 Marks in these exam if your 1 answer is wrong then your 1 marks is subtrack you obtained marks.


C-MAT is the conducted by the A.I.C.T.E.


A.I.C.T.E stands for All India Council Technical Education.


C-MAT stands for the Common Management Admission Test.


Basically , C-MAT will be taken in twice time during years.
