plz mujy kuch paper pattrn batay pcs exam ka?

plz tell me the paper pattern of u.p. pcs.
I know in prelime exam first paper of genral studies is compulsory but I am confuse in prelimes second paper.
Is the second paper based on csat or subject related?

UPSC Conducts civil services exam every year and UP PCS is the state civil services examination conducted by the state of Uttar Pradesh.The eligibility which is required to appear in written exam is same for the civil services exam.Its details are :

Educational qualification :

• Candidates should have a minimum qualification of Bachelor degree pass out from recognized university in any discipline.

Age Limit :

• Candidates minimum age should be 21 years.
• Candidates age should not be above 30 years.

There is certain differences between UP PCS and UPSC Civil Services exam.These differences are in age Relaxations criteria and appearing limit.

1. Candidates who will apply for UPSC Civil Services exam will get age relaxation facility through central government basis.It means all Indian Candidates who comes under reserved category will get equal weight age.Candidates from OBC category will get 3 years of age relaxations and Candidates from SC/ST category will get 5 years of age relaxations.
2. Candidates who will apply for UP PCS will only able to get age relaxation facility if they are the residents of Uttar Pradesh State.

UP PCS Exam can be given until you met the age criteria,but there is certain limitations related to UPSC Civil Services Examination.

1. General Category candidates can apply only 4 times for UPSC Civil Services Exam.
2. OBC Category candidates can apply only 7 times for UPSC Civil Services Exam.

CSAT(Civil Services Aptitude Test) is the Preliminary objective Written test taken by the UPSC Civil Services exam.There will be Two papers in CSAT Exam.Each Paper will be of 2 hours and marks for each paper will be 200.


Details of CSAT :


Paper I -

1. Current Event of National and International Importance.
2. History of India and Indian National Movement.
3. Indian and World Geography.
4. Indian Politics and its Governments.
5. Economic and Social Development.
6. General Issues on Environmental Ecology.
7. General Science.

Paper II -

1. Comprehension.
2. Interpersonal and Communication Skills.
3. Logical and Analytical Reasoning.
4. decision Making and Problem Solving.
5. General Mental Ability.
6. Elementary Mathematics.

The Syllabus for UP PSC exam for preliminary level will be same but the only difference is that questions of Paper one will be asked with special reference to the state of Uttar Pradesh such as Geography of UP,History of UP ...etc and will remain same.
