Candidate seeking for Medical entrance exam must have completed the +2 level of exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognized board. The Entrance exam are conducted on All India level as well as on State Level. The tests are also conducted by the Medical Institutes. Following are the list of some of the Medical entrance exam:

Of all the medical entrance exams AIIMS MBBS Medical Entrance Exam is the most popular of all and also the hardest to crack if we go by the opinions of the majority of students who have given this exam before.

All India Institute of Medical Science is an autonomous medical university situated in New Delhi and it conducts the exam every year near the first week of june.

To give this exam you need to pass your class 12 exam with english, chemistry, biology and physics.

Students who are awaiting the result of their board exam are also eligible to give this exam.

You have to secure minimum 50 percent of marks in aggregate at 10+2 level to sit for this exam. It is 45% in case of OBC students and 40% in case of SC/ST students.

Besides this you also have to go through a medical test and if found physically unfit then you will be considered ineligible.

The duration of the exam is 3.5 hours and the written exam comprises of one paper containing 200 questions. Questions will come from physics, biology, Biology (botany and zoology) and general knowledge.
