The format for IRDA online paper for Life Insurance Licence Exam is that only objective /multiple choice questions will be asked.
The examination is of 2 hours duration.
Maximum marks are 100.Numerical questions carry 10% of the marks.
A candidate is required to secure at least 50% of marks to be declared successful.

The questions asked in the exam of IRDA [Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority] of India are based on the subject of Insurance and Actuarial Science. A question paper is attached here with for your reference.

Earlier it was different to do the IRDA approved written exams for Life Insurance, as the person had to complete 100 hours of pre-exams regular classes and then they were allowed to sit for the exam. Normally the exam used to be online and all the questions were 'objective type question'. The duration was 60 minutes.
Then they started written exams in different allotted centers across India.
before the exams you need to undergo a formal training or else you will not be allowed to sit for the test. On completion of the training you get a certificate which is mandatory to sit for the exams.

Again, IRDA have started online test in different IRDA approved centers but then again you need to appear for the online version of the course training pre-exam.

There is no such question format:-
Certificate of the completion of the training need to be shown.
All the questions are objective base.
Duration is 60 Minutes.
Qualifying Marks is 50%.

Before the new syllebus passing of examination was very easy. its getting difficul with passing time. m working as a master trainer in an insurance company. i teach the whole ic 33 still candidate doesnt pass in one sitting. dey say the language and all is very tough. little out of syllebus also they ask. what can be done to improve my training skills? plz help
