Now IRDA have made it mandatory that all agents pass the IRDA exam which is conducted. For this purpose you ll have to study the IC book which is issued. The test would be of multiple choice and you can crack it easily.

In case you have completed MBA, and willing to join in a higher cadre other than the agent then it is not necessary. Your qualification is more than enough to fetch you an interview, the rest depends on your performance in the interview.
