Dear friend,

TCS is the top most MNC company.So they have a placement criteria.

The criteria is given below:-

1)Candidate must be score at least 60% in through out career.
2)Pending Backlog are not allowed.
3)Maximum 2 year gap are allowed.

The Selection process for TCS:-

1)Aptitude Test.
2)Technical Test
3)Personal Interview.

Yes , ECE department are eligible for TCS exam .

So you can apply for TCS through off campus.

TCS - TATA Consultancy Services

This is one of largest IT Services company in India and Asia. It has a turnover of over 10 billion $. So there are a lot of people out there who wish to join this company.

I must also tell you that TCS is also the largest recruiter of freshers in India. This is because of its unmatched performance, name and reputation in the market.

There are few Eligibility Criteria's which TCS usually keeps in most of the colleges for the campus recruitment. They are :-

1. You should be a minimum B.Tech/B.E from a recognized college or university. Also final year students would be eligible to apply.

2. You should have a CGPA of over 6.0 and below which the candidate cannot apply.

3. There should not be any standing arrears.

4. Only 2 year gaps are allowed in the academic career.

Now there are two types of recruitment procedures that TCS offers. On campus and Off campus. So these are the common criteria's.

However to apply for the ON Campus programs, you should contact your placement department, while for the Off campus procedures you have to wait for the processes.

dear friend,
you are from ece stream you have a fair chance to get into tcs which is one of the top compnies.infact it is in top position as for placements or anygrowth.you need to be graduate with a 60% agregate and rich in technical knowledge.
the patern of exam would be as follows:
1.aptitude
2.technical/gd
3.interviews
