i am doing my final year b tech in eee stream. i want to get into job after btech in my stream. can you please tell me about the jobs available for me in this stream? and how should i approch them??can we get jobs on basis of gare score ????what are the companies that recruit eee students?please give me the answers and guide me.

no company recruit anyone on the basis of gate score .bhel,wipro,mahindra,l&t etc companies recruit eee student.

im in 4-1 of my btech in eee.im nt having complete command on my core subjects.so,how i should prepare for the govt exams.and how to get a govt job.kindly give me a suggestion to prepare nicely and be prepared for the exams without any fail.and also how to prepare in 5 to 6 months.

I failed in b-tech eee,i have 214 credits max 216 credits to pass

you can write various exam depends upon your interest...

you can apply in the basis of gate score in the given govt sector

I have taken EEE in RVCE this year i have a 20% scope of changing branch to ECE if i dont get ECE then after B.E can i join IT companies and go abroad . MY main aim is to go abroad(to america,canada etc)

hi friend
now i am telling about scope of the branches . now days the eee the most scop branch because in they are selected in direct AEN and JEN in government sector
it sounds good that you have completed your b.tech and wanna do m.tech in EEE, for m.tech first of you should crack the GATE exam then you will participate in the m.tech . if you wanna go in machine stream then you can do easily because many machines companies are related to the EEE

dear friend,

EEE department is better than other department because of the scope of the department. EEE can apply any software company but EEE have chance for all software company.

Also for govt job position ECE have priority.

After completion of your B-TECH , you are eligible for off-campus and govt sector.Final year studenta are eligible for those post.

If your academic marks is above 60% then you applicable for below organization.

After B.Tech , you have lots of scope in govt sector like BSNL , MTNL , DRDO , SAIL , BHEL ,State Electricity Board , GAIL , BARC , ISRO, ONGC,NTPC etc.

Also you are eligible for off-campus of TCS ,CTS ,IBM ,WIPRO , HP,ACCENTUTE ,INFOSYS etc.

If you have to go for higher study . Then the options are JRF , SRF , MS , MBA ,M-TECH ,PHD etc.

But you must be qualify in GATE or MAT or CAT exam .

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering

The GATE exam takes place every year for admission into the best colleges for M.Tech like IISc, IITs, NITs, BITS, and many more….Candidates who wish to apply for job as an engineer in Public sector companies like BHEL, NTPC, INDIAN OIL, and POWERGRID will be required to take the GATE-2012. The score obtained in GATE-2012 will be utilized by above companies for inviting candidates for a personal interview for consideration for the position of Engineer Trainees.

“Pre-final year students are not eligible to write GATE 2012”


Eligibility for GATE Examination:

The following categories of candidates are eligible to appear for GATE 2012:

1)Bachelor's degree holders in Engineering/Technology/ Architecture (4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final year of such programmes.
2)Bachelor's degree holders in Engineering/Technology/Architecture (Post-B.Sc./Post-Diploma) and those who are in the final year of such programmes.
3)Master's degree holders in any branch of Science/Mathematics/ Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final year of such programmes.
4)Candidates in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master's degree programme (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/Technology.
5)Candidates in the fourth or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master's degree programme or Dual Degree programme in Engineering/Technology.
6)Candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE by Institute of Engineers (India); AMICE by Institute of Civil Engineers (India)) as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. Those who have completed section A or equivalent of such professional courses are also eligible.

surely the minimum percentage is 55% to sit for ies,gate exams.so u can give these exns nd get govt jobs...

i have done my btech in eee(72%) after that i was working as lecturer in a private college in kerala for 4 years for past 1 year i am not working (because i moved to banglore after marriage) i cant find a job neither in it nor in teaching field can anyone suggest job opening.
