Is Karnataka TET compulsory for the post of Teacher in government schools?

Hi, I have qualified CTET. So, is it possible for me to apply for Karnataka state government schools job without writing TET examination? Or, do I need to write TET as well?

Hello friend,
CTET (Central Teaching Eligibility Test) is a national level examination conducted to certify eligibility of candidates to be appointed as teachers at Primary and Upper Primary levels anywhere in india.

So if you have qualified CTET then you might not required to give TET karnataka, you can try applying in government school just by qualifying CTET.
Once you get the certificate for CTET, you are eligible to apply in the vacancies released by various schools.

Best Wishes!
