whether karpagam university (coimbatore)Ph.D degree is aproved by AICTE? after getting a Ph.D from Karpagam university can we use it to get job or promotion in govt sector?

See, the AICTE doesn't play any role in case of Universities / deemed to be universities even if they are imparting technical education. But it is mandatory to the Universities / deemed to be universities to conform to the norms of AICTE for offering technical education. Hence, only UGC approval is enough to offer the technical programmes for Universities / deemed to be universities. But aware of the courses which are offered with the approval of UGC.

It is up to UGC to give prior permission to start any programme for Universities / Deemed to be Universities. But it is mandatory to the Universities / Deemed to be Universities to conform to the standards as prescribed by AICTE when offering any technical program. Ensure that the courses offered by the Universities / Deemed to be Universities are UGC recognized.
