The Technical programs offered by the Karnataka State Open University [KSOU, are not recognized by All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE]. The University is recognized by the University Grant Commission [UGC] and Distance Education Council [DEC] of India.

As far as the validity of the program, pursued from the KSOU is concerned, it is valid and since, it is recognized by the UGC and DEC, you will definitely be eligible for the concerned Government job given you fulfill the other eligibility criteria.

i have m..sc(comp. science) and m.tech(cse) degrees. But i don't have basic engineering degree(i.e., B.Tech(CSE). if i do it now(after having m.tech(cse) is it as valid as B.Tech(cse) and M.tech(CSE). please give the reply

presently i am pursuing b.tech mech from ksou , i am confused about ksou it is valid for regular m.tech plz suggest me , thank u

Please remember no technical course can be offered by distance mode. In case of KSOU. It doesnt have the authority to do the same.

I have completed MCA from Bharathiyar university and M.tech (IT) from KSOU. Wanted to do Ph. D in Bharathiyar university, Coimbatore. Whether it is considered for Ph. D ?
Whether I have to do course work papers ? If so, how many papers ?

hello , sir i want to do M.tech in electrical from KSOU , but having doubt whether i can go for pvt sector side and govt jobs as technical oriented ,,,, if its only to get job in administration side of govt and pvt jobs what s the use of doin M.tech in this university ?is M.tech in this university has approval or not?will i can go for further Phd using this degree ,..pls give good reply with suggestions,,,,

after pursuing the Mtech civil from KSOU may i elgible for furthr studies like m phil or phd etc

no it is not affiliated with aicte.. its degree would be not valid for govt. job..
