Karnataka State Open University, Mysore is AICTE approved or not ?

KSOU i.e. Karnataka State Open University is an approved and a well recognized University and offers all its courses through the correspondence mode.

Well depending on self determination, knowledge acquired and also the academic strength, one can actually get good job options.

sir, i wanted to apply for a bank exam in which they have asked for Graduate from a recognised university and post graduate degree or diploma recognised by AICTE in personnel management/IR/HRD/Social work/Labour law or degree or diploma in Business management with specilaised in HRD from a recognised university.

I would like to know about BLIS & MLIS, that is if somebody failed for BLISc-4 or MLISc-4 for 11-12 and could not proceed to Revaluation or Retotaling with in stipulated time Spain due to delayed realization of Result, is there any provision for Supplementary Examination or he/she have to appear in next session for particular papers provided paid by fees for paper wise?

KSOU(Karnataka Public Service Commission) is not recognised by the AICTE but it is recognised by the UGC(University Grants Commission) and DEC(Distance Education Council). You can complete any course from this university is valid for all government jobs.

The KSOU [Karnataka State Open University] Is not approved by the AICTE [All India Council for Technical Education].

But the University is recognized by the following :

* University Grants Commission [UGC]

* Distance Education Council [DEC]

So , only the Technical Degree offered by the university are not valid everywhere but excepting that all the other degrees provided by the university are completely valid and can be used in government jobs.
