The technical programs offered by the Karnataka State Open University [KSOU], are not approved by the All India Council of Technical Education.

The KSOU, Mysore is recognized by following regulatory bodies:

Distance Education Council [DEC]
Association of Indian Universities [AIU]

Yah you have heard right that KSOU is not approved by AICTE for Technical Education.

It is approved by UGC and DEC only.

I am sorry to say that Karnataka State open university is not approve by A.I.C.T.E.

It is approve by Distance Education Council(D.C.E).

After passing form this university you can apply in both govt or privet sector.

Dear sir, i passed the b.tech civil eng. in ksou.so can i apply the govt.job in gujarat in R&B department? is valid degree in gujarat.can i get the gujarat govt.job?

I am joining in diploma in Engineer sem-1-103 in ksou Manasagangotri,Mysore-570006 this university aproved by AICTE or not please reply belo email id

DEC has given show cause notices to KSOU for stopping the technical courses. but KSOU are still continue to enroll the students to techinical courses witot getting the permission of AICTE Wy DEC then cotinued their affiliation to KSOU or why legal action has not been taken by AICTE On KSOU

Ksou is approved by aicte but in case of value every open university had less demand as compared with normal universities,open univerrities only offer distance courses or corresponding courses

AIU

UGC
You can do your M.Tech course in Distance mode here.This University is 8th Open University established in India.Generally Most of the Engineering courses are available here.You can join in Distance education or Regular both are available here.This University Located at Mysore in Karnataka.

What are the specialisation provided by KSOU in Mtech Civil? Do they have Computer lab ? Are they conducting exams in time ? What about the degree certificate / are they promt to issue the certificate? Do they really give the specialisation certificates or general degree certificate? kindly answer
