i am a student of first year b.tech in chennai i have given iit jee first time and was unsuccessful..........i have abt 6months left ...........wat shud u du tu crack this stuff ........within 15oo rank

to crack the iitjee under the rank of 1500 is the difficult task but it can be made much easier by studying the concepts in the syllabus.

conceptual study and depth knowledge in the subject can be more useful.
see while studying the subjects like maths its really an important thing that you have to practice the variety and quality problems.

while studying physics its important that how much knowledge you gain about the concepts in physics.
refer the book of h.c. verma for the conceptual understanding of the physics.
o.p. tondon is the best referable book for the chemistry and arihant publication's maths is very much useful for the maths.

coaching of the subjects may be useful for the understanding purpose.
concentration on the subjects is again the most important thing while cracking such top exams.

To Crack IIT-JEE

first of all be thorough with your NCERT course book..because many times it has happened that direct questions come from the book..
after that for higher preparations..you can use the books

1)M.L.Khanna for maths
2)Concepts of Physics
3)P.Bahadur for Chemistry..

and go through the past IIT-JEE papers..that will help you a lot..and if you solve all the numericals of the above books then you can be assured of a good rank..

you can also buy the study material of a coaching centre and then study from it because ot will be having the complete syllabus of IIT-JEE and you will have no difficulties in doing the topics as all the chapters of PCM are given in detailed manner..

i would also suggest you to join a test series of a coaching centre as it will help you monitor your performance for IIT-JEE..

Solve as much as question you can.Just start clearing you concepts.Try to solve the previous years jee question papers.And most important be calm.
