Tata Consultancy Service is one of the mass recruiting company in India who recruits freshers and laterals in bulk. That is why more and more students are inclined towards TCS placements every year. If you are a fresher then this is the best company to start it any day.

The off campus drive of TCS is mainly for the B.E./B.Tech and MCA students. You have to have minimum 60 percent of marks all through out your academic career and this marks needs to be attained in the first attempt itself. No improvement marks will be considered.

Generally no backlogs are entertained. At the most a couple of year gap is permitted only if you have strong reasons to show. If the year gap was due to extended education then you are not eligible.

It works best if you have a pleasant personality and the confidence to carry yourself gracefully. Along with that you can also do some crash courses on C++, Java, Oracle etc. This will help you to boost up your career a bit.

The first two tests holds great importance and they becomes the deciding factors mostly. The last two ones are comparitively more easier to deal with.
