GATE examination is conducted by the management of IIT college for the admission in the M.Tech course in maximum no of colleges.

Eligible Criteria for GATE Exam:-



The final year student are eligible to apply for GATE examination.There are no age limit and no. of attempt in the GATE examination.

Dear Friend,

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering which is conducted by the Indian Institute of Science and seven IIT institutes (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee) for the admissions to various post-graduate programmes like M.E., M.Tech, direct Ph.D. etc. in higher education institutes. also financial assistance is provided by MHRD and other Government agencies to the students.

GATE is usually conducted on the 2nd Sunday of February every year. Candidates will be required to appear in a paper of 03 hours duration.

Important dates for GATE exam are:
Online Application submission started from 1 Sept 2012
Last date for Submission of Online Application Form is 30 Sept 2012
Receipt of printed version of ONLINE Application is 8 Oct 2012
