Dear friend,

Those candidate who have passed Common Proficiency Test and Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 examination) conducted by an examination body constituted by law in India
or
an examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto and passed CPT may join the Professional Competence Course.

These exams are conducted twice every year generally on the first Sunday of the months of June and December.

There is no restriction on the number of attempts a student can make at the CA CPT examination.

CA CPT Syllabus 2012:-

No. of papers:- One

Duration:- Four years

Marks:- 200

Two Sections - Two hours - 100 Marks

Section A:- Fundamentals of Accounting ( 60 Marks )
Section B: Mercantile Law ( 40 Marks )
Section C: General Economics ( 50 Marks )
Section D: Quantitative Aptitude ( 50 Marks )

EXAM DATE:-

June Examination:-

June 6th, 2010; June 5th, 2011; June 3rd, 2012.

December Examination:-

December 5th, 2010; December 4th, 2011; December 2nd, 2012

Currently CPT forms for June exams will be filled .
Forms for June CPT exams will be filled from 3rd april 2013

December CPT exams forms will be filled in October 2013
exact dates will only be known when ICAI decalres the dates for forms submission

JUNE CPT exams would be held on 16th June 2013


In the CPT exams questions are asked from the below sections:
Fundamentals of accounting
Mercantile LAWS
General economics
Quantitative Aptitude

Notification of CPT exam:

The application forms will available at 03-04-2013

The last date of submission is 25-04-2013

The exam date is 16-06-2013

December CPT
exams forms will be
filled in October 2013

my daughter have passed isc examination 2014 and secured 81.6% marks and in accountancy 86% marks.Kindly let me know whether she may be allowed for cpt examination to be held in December 2014 also how to apply for admission if online may kindly give a guide line so that she may apply.
